Wonder if anyone else out there had to pause and "collect" themselves after reading Chapter 6 - Invisible Dark. So vivid to my imagination - I was not sure who was trying to escape - myself or John. Mary possesses a remarkable ability to create (for me) a sense of "being there" - wherever her character "lives." Thank you Mary. I cannot wait to read Devilz Hide. It may very well be one of those novels I read and then re-visit again.
